If you turn those off, alter the process so notification checkboxes/reminders/assignment are turned off for end users and remove the priv for analysts to be able to send reminders, that would be a good start. SLA notifications probably don't sent to end users, but you could check those too.
What I'd also do is run a daily script that sets the external notifcation for all end users to be none/internal and that way any messages that would be sent are not.
Thanks Dave, so if I set tps_notify_method to 0 for all end users they won't get any notifications at all?
I've managed to resolve the notifications in the process, its the system generated ones by Mail Manager that I don't seem to have any control over.
Well that's the idea Tony and for most versions of LDSD that works fine. For some older versions you might get warning errors in the event log where the notification method is set to none. Try it out and if you do get a bunch of these, no emails will go out but if you cannot put up with the warnings, try internal as a notification method. Same effect, but no warning messages :-) 7.3 onwards should be OK with none.
Perfect Dave, that works a treat once I'd removed the trigger that was setting the value back to 2!
A trigger! - outrageous :-)
