We are having trouble distributing software tasks that contain both a Preliminary and a Main package. These tasks are setup as Policies. Once the task is started the Preliminary task displays as downloading and installing but after the Preliminary one completes the entire task then reports a status of completed in the Software Portal(Desktop Manager). However, the main package will then begin downloading in the background without any notification in the Portal. After the Main package download is complete the application will run/install sucessfully. This happens with every task that is created containing multiple packages. For testing, I created a Policy task and chose a Main and Final package instead (leaving Preliminary blank) and got the same results.
I attached the log of a task that "completed" successfully.
Our core is running v9 SP1. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
