We have applied SP2 to LDMS 9 on our core server and can load the Console from there. However after running the Console update on administrator's workstations, the following error appears:
Connection Failed. Error Loading tools using C:\program files (x86)\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\tools.xml.
The Console windows opens, however the only thing that can be done is view the managed clients. The toolbox or other sections to work in LANDesk are not loaded and cannot be loaded.
Both systems are Windows 7 x64.
What I find odd is that after doing a search on the Core server, the tools.xml file doesn't exist on there either, but the Console still loads normally.
Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? I have not tried uninstalling the Console and reinstalling it yet. I was hoping to avoid doing that unless necessary.
