    Jobs hanging on active status

      Hi just updated the core to 8.8 I am getting reports from my techs that their scheduled tasks will go into active status but then just hang there with the result saying "Not Specified". The package will work for a while and then the next time it is ran it hangs. I have restarted the scheduler service and that seems to fix it but this is happening to often.

       

       

      Any ideas?

          First place to look - Global Scheduler logs (Skeleton + Processor logs).

           

          They're in the ManagementSuite directory on the Core. They should be called something like

          landesk.scheduler.globalscheduler.processor.exe.log

          landesk.scheduler.globalscheduler.skeleton.exe.log

           

          If these don't make much sense to you, most useful course of action would be to contact LANDesk support normally, as this can potentially be caused by a myriad of things.
