Query to determine if reboot is required

I would like to write a query which returns the "requires reboot" value for specific / all patches . I suspect the information is available in the database because it is visible in the patch repair information. Secondly, it would be useful to know if a machine requires a reboot / additional Vulscan prior to determining it is no longer vulnerable for a specific patch. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

You'll want to be querying the PATCH table -- that's where you'll find the column called REBOOT (a numerical value).

Depending on the numerical value it's a "yes / no / if required" type scenario.

You link the patches to a vulnerability via the VULNERABILITY_IDN which you resolve in the VULNERABILITY table.

(Since one vulnerability can have multiple patches -- one for x86, one for 64-bit for instance -- it would make probably the most sense to sort this by VULNERABILITY first)? .

That should get you on the right track.
