I just loaded that driver on my dev box and it loaded successfully .
2 quick thoughts.
The source machine have enough RAM to load the drivers, preferred is 512mb.
Do you have many drivers in your PE image, maybe your running out of space and may need to expand the size of the PE image.
also...another check is mount the boot.wim with imagex and check to see that the console is putting the drivers in the right directory structure, could be a bug?
when you open up the boot.wim, the drivers are stored in: \InstalledDrivers\
Are there instructions on how to expand the size of the PE image in LDMS 9 SP2? I am not finding anything in the console or on the forums....
Thanks for the link. I have a backup of the boot.wim file from when I upgraded to SP2. Do you know if it would cause any issues with the WinPE image if I copy the drivers out of the backup file and add them to the new boot.wim? As opposed to adding each driver back via the console.....
No i don't believe so. I have added Folders in there manually and they work fine. I believe all the console is doing is the automatice way of doing the mounting, copying, unmounting process anyways. Give it a shot...also you can try to place your backup boot.wim on the PXE server to see if there is just a general problem with your new boot.wim.
it would go here on the pxe server....
