Had to add the nickinstK.dll and the nicC026.dll files. NIC loads up fine in WinPE.
I have the same problem with the same driver, can you explain what you mean : "Had to add the nickinstK.dll and the nicC026.dll files. NIC loads up fine in WinPE."
When you extract the driver files, make sure to also include the nickinstK.dll and the nicC026.dll files when adding the NIC to WinPE in LANDesk.
ok thank you, now it work great !
Would someone mind explaining further how you would go about adding *.dll? We are experiencing what appears to be the same issue and would like to know how we can add the *.dll.
Extract all the files to a folder. When you get to the point where you need to add the *.inf file:
. point to the folder
. pick the *.inf file
. Hit Next to continue and add
With all the files being in the one folder, it will automatically pick up the remaining *.sys and *.dll files. Infact, you can put any file in that folder and it will get picked up.
I have the same issue, i loaded the driver for realtek network, for a lenovo A70.
Failed to load the driver, i followed the instructions and it won't load.
The weird thing is that, if I boot from a lenovo x220, which don't use this driver, the driver loads successfully..
Any help please?
