How is Service Desk installed - is it via One Touch or direct installation on clients? Do you know exactly which Windows updates you installed to cause this issue?
It's installed locally. I've narrowed it down to KB2416400 - Cumulative Update for IE8 for Windows 7 as the problem went away after removing this update.
Is there likely to be any progress on this soon? Our security team will be pushing that Windows Update to our fleet in the next week as it is a critical fix, and cannot easily exclude the PCs that are running LanDesk console... this will leave our team with only the WebDesk until the problem is resolved.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Have you got this raised officially with your local support team and are they aware of the priority? We will need this raised via this method so we can get all of the information needed as I don't think it's an issue that we've come across before.
