Can you give me the instalaltion command line you use please ?
I use the Adobe Acrobat X Standard CD as source.
No real variant on a normal msi deployment
New MSI Deployment task
Point to Adberdr1000_en_US.msi (or your msi)
Install - we use unattended mode with norestart gives you parameters of /i /passive /norestart
Schedule it and users get the passive installer and when complete are asked only to accept t&c's of adobe's license.
On replying i just realised your on about the full adobe x software and not the free reader - which is what i was on about!
Thx for you answer
Yeah, it's ok for the reader but for Full Acrobat X Standard i have this files :
I try few things :
1/ Simple installation with the setup but it don't work
2/ MSI package with .mst transforms switch -> same...
3/ MSI package with transforms, only with additionals files, failed to install the package...
I know this is an old question but snce I ran across it in searching for my own solution I thought I would relay the info I had in case someone else runs into the same issue. I used the customization wizard and told the msi to run silently. I then created the msi package. Mine is pro so I pointed it to acropro.msi. I used the follow line on the install/uninstall options /i TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /qn /norestart. I include only two other files. They were the acropro.mst and the data1cab. I saved the package and created a scheduled task. I added a machine to the scheduled task. It toom about 15 minutes or so to install. I first I didn't it was working because the task just said processing package in the log file. It did install though.
Dont know if this is still an issue for you, but I ran in to the same problem with both Acrobat Pro and Standard X. In the end I added a /qb or /qn to the install and it finally stopped prompting anything on the users end.
Thx for your answer, i just come back from holisays, i will test this week, i will tell you.
