Connection through managment gateway failed 10 SSL Handshake Error

Because of recent file corruption on our LDMG, I performed a factory reset of the device yesterday afternoon.  I then activated and reconfigured the device identically to the way it was before.  I am able log into the web console from our WAN as well as from a computer outside our corporate network.  However, when I used the Broker utility to test the client's ability to communicate with the LDMG, I got the following results:

51:46.348   Attempting Direct HTTP connection to host landesk:80
51:46.348   Starting HTTP session with host landesk:80, proxy "", and proxy user ""
51:46.380   Unable to resolve host landesk address 255.255.255.255
51:46.380   Direct connection failed 6 Name resolution error

51:46.380   Starting HTTPS session with host 65.121.241.147, proxy "", and proxy user ""
      51:46.380   Connecting to address 65.121.241.147
51:46.645   SSL Connection failed error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca 20
51:46.645   Direct connection failed, attempting to find configured proxy
51:46.645   Looking for autoproxy settings as current user
51:46.645   Autoproxy settings are not enabled
51:46.645   Looking for autoproxy settings as current user
51:46.645   Connection through managment gateway failed 10 SSL Handshake Error

I tested from two different locations outside our WAN; in each case I got the same failure.  I found a table of known LDMG errors, including #10, but I haven't found any information on how to fix this problem.  The SSL3_READ_BYTES messages looks suspiciously like a file system problem.  Any ideas what is wrong?
