Browse to docs\LDMS folder and open LDMSUsers.pdf and go to page 134. My personal opinion is that you should create your own delivery methods based on your company requirements. Each shops is differnt, and LANDesk provides you with a very flexible way to create customizable delivery methods. We use a very descriptive naming convention for all our delivery methods - probably overkill - but when you see the name you pretty much know everything about the delivery method (CEG Required - Once - Feedback - Delay - Never Reboot - PSP).
First decide if you want a Push, Pull, or Multicast.
Then create a delivery method within that group. Use the help button within the Delivery Method - properties screen to research each option.
Also, if you create them you will actually learn about each option when creating them Also, test the policy on yourself so that you can visually see what the delievery actually does.
Thanks for the .pdf. I read that section and found it a little vague. But like you said if I create the methods myself and also test it on myself I will learn them better. Was just hoping to get some quicker answers. Thanks for your help.:)
