Unfortunately that isn't a supported configuration. How about spinning up a virtual machine with the server on it for the TPS bits and stick to the client being on your host.

I was just nice in the past to start SQL Server and a Console on my OS (Win XP with LDSD 7.3.2)
But if it's really not possible to use Win7 as a Web Server I have to do it in a VM

Well not possible is one thing, not supported is another :-) An attractive option for some people is to run windows 2008 R2 (64 bit of course) as their desktop and run common apps like SQLQ Server on that directly. Then use hyperV to run the servers that vary with version etc.
Just a thought anyway. and both NZ and Australia nod in your direction :-)
