Can you advise on how I can delete a registry key via LANDesk please?
I have a batch script that contains the following:
REG DELETE HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing /F
This batch script when executed on a standalone system works fine.
Here is what I have tried:
1. I copied the above BAT into LDPACKS on the core in a folder called TEST
2. I created a new Batch File Package via Distributed Packages and simply pointed it to the batch file by specifying a http:// path
3. I created a scheduled task and set the delivery method as Push Standard
4. I placed 2 machines in the scheduled task
The problem is that the 2 machines stay in an ACTIVE state for over 30 mins. This indicates something, somewhere went wrong.
Any advice on what is going on or how I can achieve the above?
Previous LD discussions suggest using something called Package Builder??? I do not think this is supported in v9.0 SP2.
