    Reg keys by .bat

      We are migrating from Novell GroupWise to Microsoft Outlook

      I have created the packages to remove GroupWise and install Outlook and all works well.

      The problem I have is that I can't remove the default mail profile from the client machines and this stops Outlook opening.

      I need to do this with a batch file and I have tried the following:

      Copy to local machines:

      @echo off

      md c:\profilereg

      xcopy /s \\sqlsut02\Packages\Office_2007\Outlook_Deployment\profilereg c:\profilereg

      To rung the reg key install:

      @echo off

      regedit /s c:\profilereg\novellprofiledel.reg

      The reg keys:

      [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]
      "DefaultProfile"="Novell Default Settings"

      [-HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2720991719-3395378957-1752411362-9057\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]"Novell Default Settings"

      So the files all copy over and can be run from the machines manually but when done by deployment it doesn't import the reg changes

      Am I doing something wrong? Can you suggest a better way?

      Thanks for the help in advance
