Getting exact same error.
Oddly, we upgraded our core server to SP2 a while back and I've installed the console multiple times since (adding SP2 patch for the console) without issue. Now all of a sudden every single install of the console and patch gets this error. In other words, can't install and use the console.
Read another post about using the FQDN or IP address for the core instead of the netbios name, tried it, it doesn't work.
Really need a fix for this.
Same similar error after installing Service Pack 2 for LDMS 9. Get same error installing sp twice now. "Console Initialization Error: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction. Running LDMS on Server 2003.
I've found a fix that works for me. Instead of loading the service pack for the console after loading the console itself, I have the service packs/updates set up to push to the PC after running a scan.
I load the base console, then manually run a scan from the PC and the updates get pushed to the PC. The console works just fine after that.
I have no idea why this works vs loading the service packs/updates after installing the console.
