Our assignment window has place-holders for the incident number, title and summary in the details section. The only way to prevent people from possibly overwriting these is to make the details box not-visible. But, I would still like to provide a place for the person initiating the assignment to add a note to the email. This would mean, the assignment window needs to have a field added that the analyst can type in and will be added to the email. Ideally I would like a way to insert a note, preferably between the the incident number placeholder and the summary placeholder in the details window.
Has anyone done anything like this?
