I have been able to automatically create an article from within an incident on the resolution screen. However, I have a new process that I am trying to populate the Article Type from the incident category description field. But when I test this out it comes up as a null value. Is there anyway to get the incident category description to populate in the Article Type from an automatic action dynamically? Trying not to have analysts select from the drop down.
How about adding the article type to the category, populating it on each category and then using that attribute as a value type copy
After looking into this further, we decided to create another article type as default.

Went around and added a default value and then changing during the approval process.
