7B means you have a driver problem with your HDD controller. What OS is this, and did you use HII?
Its a Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise SP1 Operating System,HP hardware Models. I didnt use HII.. because I have captured the image manually using WinPE 2.0 CD and restore the image manually using the same CD... But I have inbuilt the ImageW V2 tool inside of the WinPE 2.0 CD.I am using landesk imageW V2 Tool, but i am capturing the image manually and deploying the image manually.
Could you please tell me what type of driver we have to inject in HII if I will be using the Landesk Capture and Deploy Script to Fix this Blue Screen Error?
I had a similar problem and was able to make a registry change to get around this. My problem had something to do with the SATA Controller. I have been adding this to all of my Win7 images and it seems to work.
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSAHCI\Start = 0 (REG_DWORD)
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\IASTORV\Start = 0 (REG_DWORD)
By default it is '3', but this just tells Windows to load the one it thinks it needs and do not try any others. By setting it to '0' it will load them all. I suppose one could program it to modify the correct one on whether or not it is a laptop, but i do not see any problems with having both set to '0'. You may get a message on first bootup stating that it is not a certified hardware driver, but I believe you can disable this in the GPO, or Registry.
Thanks. Let me try this and Let you know.
In answer to what driver you need it would be the hard drive controller driver for Windows 7 x64 for whatever controller you've got. You could add it to HII and manually run the HII command by copying hiiclient.exe to your WinPE image and running:
hiiclient.exe /autodetect /ostype="Windows7"
That should download and install the driver. You would still need to set up HII on the core before this would work.
So first I have to add the "hard drive controller driver for Windows 7 x64" into LANDesk HII, after that i have copy the "HIiClient.exe" and add same into WinPE Cd and once the image has deployed successfully.i have to click "close" button and goto WinPE command Promt and run this "hiiclient.exe /autodetect /ostype="Windows7" command, it will automatically load the drivers and reboot the machine?
What I have mentioned above procedure are right?
I have tried to download the "hard drive controller driver for Windows 7 x64", I could not able to find this..... Could you please provide the link where I can able to download the "hard drive controller driver for Windows 7 x64"
It could be helpful for me too....
You need to add the driver, and then associate it with your hardware. That is the button that has an icon that looks like a bar code.
The rest of the steps are exactly right.
What model is the hardware? That's what driver you need.
It's HP Hardware, please find the below details of Laptop and Desktop Hardware models
Laptop HP EliteBook 6930p HP EliteBook 2530p HP EliteBook 8440p HP EliteBook 2540p Desktop HP DC7900 SFF HP DC7800 SFF HP 8000 SFF
You said like we need to inject the "hard drive controller driver for windows 7 64-bit", so that I need to download the particular driver... can you provide the link to download the particular driver...so that i can able to inject into HII and take the HIIclient.exe and import it into WINPE CD
Please Could u provide the download link for this "hard drive controller driver for windows 7 64-bit"?
Ya.. I know that bar code kind icon button...i will do that..please provide the link to download the "hard drive controller driver for windows 7 64-bit" so that it will helpful for me.....
Here is a link for the drivers for the HP EliteBook 6930p for Windows 7 x64:
From there download the Storage driver. That is what you need. You will need to do the same for all the models you need and make the association between hardware and model for the HII client to work. If the same driver is used for multiple devices you can import the hardware once, and then associate the same driver to all the models that use that same driver.
Thats fine... For example HP DC 7900 model i can able to see 2 types of storge driver in that table...so which one I have to download and inject it into HII? here is the link
Please check and tell
Personally I would download both, there is no downside to that.
The specific answer would depend on whether your devices are in AHCI mode or not in the BIOS. I believe generally they are by default, although that can be modified.
