After upgrading to SP2 do i need to create a new advance agent

I am about to upgrade my LDMS9 SP1 core server to SP2.  We currently use the advance agent in conjunction with GPO to automatically install the agent software when a domain PC checks for policy from Active Directory.  I see in the Read me that i also have to upgrade the Agent to SP2 using the SP2 - client files.  Does this mean that after the upgrade i must also create a new advance agent and replace the msi that active directory is pushing out?

any help on this will be very helpful.

      thank you

Yes you do. You can look at an advanced agent like a snapshot, it is created based on system configuration both user setting as well as core patch level at the time of the save and it can not be dynamically upgraded, meaning no way to install sp2 to the built previously built MSI or EXE of the MSI without recreating the files. This will also apply to any self-contained agents you may have built.
