Thanks for the update on this. I've seen this and was trying to troubleshoot it yesterday, and this makes my life a little easier

What constitutes a corrupt .lnk? .lnk without a target, perhaps?
I'd like to see if i can simulate this here on our end. We're not deployed yet to the new agent. we're still performing burn-in testing and bug reporting to LANDesk, so i'd like to experience this problem now, before we deploy, and add it to our list of bugs to escalate if needed. We're a 13K device environment, and don't need any problems such as these to be introduced, so more things we can head off the better.
the target was missing completely ... everything in properties was blank.
You might be able to simulate it by creating a text file and renaming it from TXT to LNK, but I haven't tried it.
I'll give it a shot.
Hy Randy, have you find a solution to correct or bypass the problem. I have the same and at this time no fix available.
