    The Knowledge Message Monitor task failed with the following error message: Lock obtain timed out: NativeFSLock

      Issue:

       

      Multiple repeating errors in the Windows Event Log every couple of seconds

       

      Note:Directory Path with vary depending on the location you have configured within your TPS Config File, the default path will be the location in which you have your TPS.Config file.

       

      Errors:

       

      Error 1: Touchpaper Services Background Processing

       

       

      The Knowledge Message Monitor task failed with the following error message: Access to the path 'D:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LANDesk Knowledge\Lucene\index' is denied.

      The Service Catalogue Knowledge Message Monitor task failed with the following error message: Access to the path 'D:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LANDesk Knowledge\Lucene\service_catalogue_index' is denied.

      Cause:

       

      When installing LANDesk Service Desk a folder will be created within the same folder that stores your TPS.Config file.  The folder name is: 'Tika'

       

      When Recreating your new file store for Lucene folder and file 'tika-app-0.5.jar' are missing

       

      Resolution:

       

       

      This folder and file must be copied to the location in which you are going to store your Lucene data files.
