I also have seen on these chipset if it is ATI/AMD, which i had this problem with X100e
During sysprep of a ATI/AMD machine a service is disabled by sysprep.
The Service is called AtiPCie
During sysprep, sysprep process changes the following regkey:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\AtiPcie - "Start" value is changed from 0 to a 3 (zero means load @ boot)
So after sysprep and try to boot you will get a BSOD
boot into winpe, open up regedit and load the hive c:\windows\system32\config\system
browse the registry to:
HKLM\System\temp\ControlSet001\services\AtiPcie - change the "start" from 3 to 0
then see if it boots
Is there a way to add a task to the sequence to take care of this? I will have to try the fix tomorrow, but I don't want to do this on 50 units.
did you find your solution? i posted two different resolutions. Which one was it and then we can determine what way to go.
