Also make sure that the user that you're logged into the console has the LANDesk Administrator role. If not then make sure that the role that your user account has then has access to the OSD section.
I dont have a remote console to test with, but it may be that this option is only seen if you are logged onto the core server iteself under the Configure | Services option - it contains the PXE Holding Queue and F8 timeout options.
In order for that tab to show up, your console needs access to the \\coreserver\ldmain\landesk\files\osdrep.msi file.
Check to see if you can browse to it using the same user account you are using to log into the console.
When Configure Services (svccfg.exe) runs, it looks for the OSDREP.MSI file at that path. If it is missing, or due to permissions it cannot read it, the tab will not be displayed.
You can quickly verify if this is the issue by looking at the following log file:
\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\Log\svccfg.log
If it is working correctly it writes 2 lines like this:Mon, 18 Jul 2011 20:16:37 Path to check for OSD is \Mon, 18 Jul 2011 20:16:37 Returned attributes on file are 20
If it is NOT working correctly it writes a line like this:
Mon, 18 Jul 2011 22:15:48 Path to check for OSD is \
Mon, 18 Jul 2011 22:15:48 Returned attributes on file are FFFFFFFF
I hope this helps!
