Capturing Win7 image using OSD results in "BOOTMGR is missing" at source

I'm trying to capture a Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 image using OSD and WinPE PXE boot.

The whole process seems to be working fine - I can PXE boot and run my capture script successfully, but running the capture is "breaking" the source PC (a VM). After the image has been captured and the PC reboots, the message "BOOTMGR is missing" is shown.

If I deploy the captured image to a PC, then it boots fine, so the image seems to be working.

I can fix the issue on the source PC by running a Windows repair twice, but I'd like to avoid that.

What is causing this and how can I fix it? I've attached the capture script.

      Thanks in advance.
