    All devices appearing with "No-Entry" signs

      This morning, one of our techs reported to me that all devices in her remote console were reporting that they were unavailable. It seems to be only a display issue as devices that are actually on can be remote controlled from her console.

       

      I checked the agent discovery options and only DNS is selected.

       

      Any ideas what could be causing this?

       

      BTW, we are running LDMS 8.8 SP3.

          Hello,

           

          potentially is some network issue / limitation.

          Maybe the DNS set for the workstation where the console is installed is not able to resolve these devices.

          Or there are some firewall limitation that are blocking the UDP ping that landesk does.

          You may find more using a tool as WireShark and compare the network capture of a full working console and a not working one.
