We are having an issue trying to run a VBScript on Vista computers only. We are using a batch file to call a vb script that is downloaded locally to the computer. The script will run if we manually touch the workstation and run it locally. If we run the script on Windows 7 or XP computers it runs without issue on LANDesk. Vista computers throw up the access is denied error. I'm guessing that the culprit here is Vista's UAC. Has anyone else run intot his issue? If so did you have to disable UAC in order to distribute software to Vista computers?
Just wondering why you are wrapping a VBS script in a batch file? What happens when you just set it up to run as a vbs script? Can you post the script? What version of LANDesk are you running, SP and MCPs.
