When you imaged your computer, did you click the "reseal" or "use mini-setup" options and then set the option to "shutdown"?
If you booted the computer back up after running Sysprep it will undo all the Sysprep changes.
You have to shut the computer down, then leave it off, and then take your image.
I did not check "Use mini-setup". I think this is the problem. Thanks for that documentation.
I just thought I had the same issue with OSD using WinPE in 8.8. I checked mini-setup and used Reseal. When the image restarted after deploy it prompted for "Next" on the screen wher the VLK is input, although the VLK was actually in the correct fields in the dialogue box. It was also a valid VLK, since clicking Next moved it on to the next stage of setup and then the system restarted successfully. This was an Win XP SP2 OS with the correct version of Sysprep for SP2. The solution... I didnt wait long enough.. If I had I would have seen that it moved through the setup just as it should. My only remaining problem, finding some way to avoid the extra reboot that occurs after the Agent installation (which includes SWD and AntiVirus).
