I have been trying to get profile migration working in provisioning to work for a while now with no luck. I have followed the instructions here without any luck. The image I am using works properly without the copyprofile entry in the unattended.xml, but fails during setup when this one line is added. I have attached a picture of the error I get. This is after it boots into windows the first time after deployment and starts the OOBE section of deployment. If I don't include that one line, it runs fine, joins the domain, and installs Office and Symantec without an issue. I am basically using the sample unattended files provided by landesk with a few minor changes like the organization name changed to ours.
We have the same problem. When you remove the <Copyprofile> from your unattend.xml, it probably will work, but you'll have problems with the profiles (settings)
On the internet more people have this problem, seems to be a Win 7 bug. There are ways to work around it by editing the registry when sysprepping your image.

Yeah, I had found that same article and it was the correct issue. Once I changed the profile setup to only have the local administrator, everything transferred properly.
