Is the DPI setting different in the display settings in the Control Panel.
I think setting this to the same as the other Windows 7 user will resolve the problem.
Sorry for the delay in replying but the user has been out for thepast few days. I checked the display settings for DPI for both users and they are the same.
Any other thoughts?
I've only seen this when the Text DPI settings are greater than 100% (96 pixels per inch).
I think if it is not this then it would be another display related setting cause the dialog to display incorrectly.
If the above does not help (and if it does) could you raise a support case for this problem.
The search dialog should resize with the display settings so we would be keen to recreate the problem here and raise it as a defect.
Thanks for the tip. The users screen was set to 125% and when I made it 100% the search window works again. We just had to adjust her screen resolution so she ended u with about the same size display.
