LPM has listeners for e-mail, database, and web services. Service Desk has documentation on how to send data to LPM via LPM's database listeners and LPM covers e-mail. However, I want to do things like change a password while the user is on the phone. The thought of waiting 1 minute for LPM to check for the request and then 1 more minute for Service Desk to process the info sent back means my analysts could wait up to 2 minutes for a password reset or anything else I dream up. I see no documentation that describes how to use a web service to send data to LPM. If that could be done, LPM processes web services immediately and would speed up the process a bunch. The second benefit is not having a database listener polling every minute.
