    neil_p1000 Apprentice

      Big problem

This is the second day we have been using service desk 7.4 after upgrading . We made the desicison to only use web for our analyst but half are now getting the attached errors when trying to login.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated as we are cannot run for long with half of our staff not able to log in.

      Thanks

      Neil

          Hi

The error is stating that it can't find the tps.config file or that the tps.config file is corrupt / doesn't contain the correct settings.  This is where the tps.config file is located:

          http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-3685

It looks as if your users are going to a webaccess.int virtual directory so you should be looking for it in:

          2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Touchpaper\WebAccess.Int\tps.config

          2008: C:\ProgramData\Touchpaper\WebAccess.Int\tps.config

If it is missing you may want to check to see if you have a non-integrated login webaccess tps.config and if browsing to this works.  Likely to be in:

          2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Touchpaper\WebAccess\tps.config

          2008: C:\ProgramData\Touchpaper\WebAccess\tps.config

I've just noticed that you've raised a Support case too so I will ensure that the engineer sees this post.

          Best wishes

          Karen
