Hope someone can shed some light on an issue we have been experiencing;
Currently running LANDesk 9.3, we have been experiencing issues with some clients where as the current IP address is not being displayed. LANDesk seems to keep hold of the IP for the client from a previous session, this then result in IT not being able to contact the client. The solution is to get the users to run an inventory scan, the scan then updates the IP address.
This is all well and good when the user is able to initiate the scan, but when this is not possible, we are unable to initiate a scan from the console.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what are the work around.
