    How HII needs to work

      1. on driver storage filesystem, you make one directory per system model and put all its drivers there
      2. in LANDesk console, you map one system model to its driver directory on the filesystem

Eliminates the hassle of assigning each driver to every system model within the console.

Eliminates the current lack of control (SP3 HII) over which drivers are applied to which systems- which results in BSOD's.

You will never strong-arm manufacturers into rewriting some arbitrarily large number of .INF files to be more device-specific, and you can never verify every driver on every possible system.

Please release a patch that makes SP3 HII work as described here...and please do it soon.
