Try pointing the image to a subdirectory of the share. i had one today that just didn't seem to want to work but when I did a subdirectory it seemed happy. Admittedly I also played around a bit more with the permissions at the same time (don't forget you need your account to have both ntfs and share rights to that location).
You may also find it useful to disable the reboot line at the end of a script that's causing you issues and then manually launch a command prompt so that you can launch the imaging tool yourself to see what it has access to.

Permissions are set to everyone; tried adding "Capture" to the end of the path, and did not seem to resolve.
