Hi Chris, I'm not sure why you are seeing that error. You might check the /Library/Application Support/LANDesk/landesk.log file on the mac agent to see if it tells you why it got that error.
Thanks for the tip - I was wondering where the Mac client kept its logs.
...not content to have one error message, I've gone ahead and installed SP3 and tweaked some random settings. We'll see what happens with my testing today.
New Error! "Node's reported device ID is not in the database"
I'm assuming, at this point, that I've made things unhappy by installing SP3 and re-installing the client on my Mac workstation. I'm going to see if there's any way to clear what's in the database and see what happens.
I just wound up removing the device from the LANDesk console, then un-installing and re-installing the agent entirely.
It's much happier now.
