Hi, we are running landesk management suite v8.8 sp4 and a handful of Win7 workstations. I am pushing out a SWD package that works fine on XP but times out for Win7 devices with the error "The processing of the task timed out." I am using a delivery method that runs the package from the source. I checked the win7 workstations and there are no files in sdmcache so I'm wondering if the task is timing out before the files are even downloaded, that maybe a win7 setting is blocking the deployment. Are there any settings in Win7 that we should be cognizant of, that would affect landesk pushes? Thank you in advance!

The best place to research this is look at the sdclient log for the job on the client. Take a look at the sdclient log or upload it here.
I looked at the sdclient logs and it looked like the package was successful... went back to the console and the job had completed successfully overnight with no changes, after giving me timeouts all yesterday. Go figure... Thanks!
