Do you have a security and patch manager subscription? If so itunes is a vulnerability already available.
If not I can give you other ways to deploy it.
Sorry for the late reply for this, been busy... I checked our available patches via Patch and Compliance, but all that is showing in there is iTunesv10.5.3. Any way to get this to update with the most recent version?
Patch will only update any installed version.
Check this page on how to deploy itunes:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2729053?start=0&tstart=0 With multiple MSI's you might need to use dependend packages or use a custom script or a provisioning template to deploy all at once.

LANDesk has 10.6.3 in content (ITUNESv10.6.3), perhaps you have not downloaded the latest content?
As Frank mentioned, Patch will only install the "patch" if it detects an earlier version. You could clone the patch and modify the logic to install if not detected, or you could use Software Dist. to push it out.
I just packaged it up (using Wise) to install iTunes without auto-updates, etc, and to set "parental controls" to disable the sharing of music across the net. Let me know exactly how you want iTunes installed and I can give you some suggestions
I'm actually ok with only having the update option rather than the installation option. iTunes is now part of the setup of machines to deploy so the majority of the ones that need it already have it installed. So the main focus that concerns me is the update process... How would I go about downloading the latest content? Anytime I've ever asked our admins about it, I've just been told that whenever Landesk has tested it and confirmed no issues, it automatically is available to us. Is this not the case??
As James said you probably dont have the latest content downloaded. Take a look at this document to get started: http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-7516
Also note please that LANDesk just checks the content of the patch, NOT application compatibility issues. This is (can be) still up to you.
Whoo-hoo! I got the update to work! Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it!!
