Does the user have modify rights to the LANDesk folder local on their machine? Also, have the servers been updated to reflect SP1 as well?
Was this problem solved in the last few months?
I don't think the patches may help, because the console login is working to the specific franmework, if I'm using a computer that is joined to the doiman the servers belong to.
If I'm running the console from outside the network it isn't working with the following error message: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
This is why I asked, wether the problem was solved or not.
we ran into the same problem here on some devices. After a hint from support we take a close look on the console.64.exe version and for some reason it was a 7.5 console. We than run the setup of 7.5.1 again on the affected clients and now the version changed and the login was successfully. For 7.5.1 the console64.exe should have the version 18.104.22.16889 or maybe higher with a hotfix.
