Once or twice a week our core server will max out the CPU of the Windows Server 2003 box it is running on. All 4 cores will max out at 100%
When it does happen it's always between 9AM and 9:30AM, when our users will be powering on their machines.
We have inventory scans set to report back to the core once a week, or whenever the hosts IP has changed, but this setting has been in place for over 3 years now and never been a problem until the last month or so. I'm not even sure if that is the problem.
We are running LDMS 9 Service Pack 3 on Windows Server 2003.
Nothing blantent sticks out in the Windows event viewer logs.
Is there a log file in Landesk itself somewhere which might point me in the right direction of why this happens?
