When installing software via the Portal, it seems to be downloading at a'trickle'. A 12MB package could take 40-50 minutes to download before the install even starts. If we're going to use this effectively, I need the software to push when the user requests it. 90% of my user base is LAN connected. Is there a client or server change that I can make to remedy?
you could check the network usage settings to it pulls it down faster, or change the setting so instead of download from source then installing it installs from the source.
How many files are in your policy?
If there's lots (100+ or something) you might want to consider using self extracting Zips or Rars & batch files...
