Scheduled Distribution Package Deployment Continues to Deploy After Completion

I recently created a batch file to update the BIOS on my PCs. I scheduled it to run on Saturday afternoon. The task completed successfully to roughly 80% of my machines. However, now whenever one of the machines that were offline comes back online, the package gets deployed to that computer. I deployed the package using the Standard Policy-Supported Push delivery method.

Am I wrong in assuming that machines that were not online when the task was scheduled to run should not be getting this update when the agent checks back into the core?

      Running LDMS 9sp2.
