    Static group

How canI add a static group to a scope without making it public?

When I create a team, LDMS automatically creates a static group that I can add devices to. When I add devices to this group, and then try to add this group to a scope, the only choice I have is to select the 'Public' group, and not the group that I want. If I put a static group under the 'public' group, then I can add it to a scope, but does this then make it a public group that everyone can see?

If I understand you correctly, you are wondering why Scopes using "Device Groups" only lists device groups from "Public devices"?

When I choose "Device Groups" in a new scope, only my public device groups are showing up as well.

I don't know the exact reason, but this is probably by design.
