Hi I have some issue to deploy MSI package on Client agent version 9 SP3, I don't have the issue on old Agent 8.8:

When trying to deploy I get the log below:

I have made a lot research to find any similar issue? I have check that the clients concerned with that issue can reach my core server.

I don't think thats an authorization, issue but an agent configuration issue, but I don't see whats wrong...

      Anyone can help?

16389 means it didn't copy the file or the hash was different.

The log shows it trying to get the file from its peers.  Either it couldn't get the file or the hash has changed on the file.

Have you specified in the delivery method under Network Usage - Bandwidth Usage the "Peer only" checkbox?  If so, it won't try downloading the file from the source if it doesn't get it from the peers.

Make sure the peer only is unchecked.

Also, right click on the package and click "Reset package hash" this will allow the core to re-calculate the hash the next time the task is started.

          Then re-start your task.

            Hi cplatero,

            thanks for your answer.

I can't see the settings you mentionned in the delivery method, I even tried to use push with emergency push:

            Untitled.png

I tried to reset the package hash, it didn't change anything.

What's strange is that it works on old landesk Agent  8.8 but not on 9.3.

            Thanks

You have to go into the actual delivery methods in order to change the delivery method settings, you can't change them from inside the task.

From the console, go to Tools - Distribution - Delivery methods.  You'll be able to check the settings in there.

If that doesn't help there are a number of documents on troubleshooting the problem you are seeing: http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-8224
