I am trying to import additional user data from our ldap connection, I need to add Department, Office and a few others. I found it difficult to find a target attribute for some of the mappings so I created a new attribute under system-end user so the new attribute appears in the mapping screen, so far so good the import seems to work. However I can not find away to add the custom attributes I created under system end user, when trying to add them under the Windows Manager in the Incident Window.
You may need to recreate the attribute on the user object instead of the end user object. The reason for this is the raise user object is the user object and can't see the attribute as the end user object is at a lower level. If you created the attribute on user, it will be available to all user types such as Analyst, End User, Contact etc as user is the parent object and therefore available on the Raise User object.
