You put the wrong partition number.
As I indicated in my original post, I'm following the documentation which clearly indicates I should be picking partition 2 - is this documentation incorrect?
The task is generating a usable image, and I'm able to deploy the image just fine, which makes me think that I must be using the correct partition.
Regardless of whether the documentation is correct or not - why would simply taking an image be a destructive process?
Does the computer have a OEM partition? We've found Fixwindows.exe which Landesk puts in the imaging script gets confused and does not fix the mbr correctly.
You can boot off a win 7 cd and choose fix windows or get the partition number right.
Nope - no OEM partition.
I've got the 100MB system partition from the Windows 7 setup...
And the 100GB partition that was acting ast my C: drive

Do you have a sd card reader in the computer?
Yes, there is an SD cardslot... That's probably what's throwing the drive/partition counts off. Huh.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Thats probably it.
