Usually it's a corrupt XML file transfered to the computer. Boot back into the PE environment and copy the xml file somehwere and look at it. The file is transfered by HTTP and could be any combination of IIS issues, network connectivity, or file system corruption.
I see it on occasion, and in my situation it's usually my IIS instance on an older core.
I've seen this several times, but only on a specific model of laptop. A Lenovo L430. The same OSD Script runs on all of computers without issue. It just happens about half the time when deploying to the L430. Not sure why, but I suspect it is a driver or the hard drive.
I had same issue with an Lenovo Desktop and a 128 GB Samsung SSD.
After installing the original harddrive it worked.
Never had problems before.
Still not solved
had this error today again.
I deleted the OSD Script and recreated it.
U also need to publish it again into PXE Boot Menu
Now it works.
Hopt it helps !!
This problem is the Uicode of XML files, if you modify the OSD script, "Chinese standard time zone" will coding errors, so it cannot be modified by UI script, can directly modify the XML file
