I want to create a query tab in webaccess so an analyst can see the notes from the child tasks of the request. However, I don't think that's possible using the built in query designer since both tasks and notes are collections in request and you only use the preview pane to display the information in console and we do not use the console.
To solve the problem, I create a test by creating a view for request task notes in the database, then using data connection, created a new connection to the database, then using query designer and created a filter for and placed it on the request window. Everything worked as expected however, I'm not sure about the performance impact this will have.
Has anyone else tried something similar and has any feedback?
