Ok, so I've tried increasing some column sizes such as description to varchar(max) and restarted inventory service and rebuild via coredbutil but still no joy. Same error occurs.
Have for the time being, removed OS - Drivers and Services - Service from the stored attributes and scans are now updating successfully but I would call this a temporary work around rather than a solution to the original problem.
I am encounterring this right now except with this:
SCA94E1.SCN, LDInv.dll -2146825023 Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal. Update Table:TCP Column:ADDRESS PK:, Thread ID: 14620
I'm reluctant to remove Address from the TCP table ... Did you ever find a solution to yours?
I have found that the offending column in the Services table it Path. I typically increase the size to 1024 which should be enough to get you rolling again.
Never got to the bottom of it, to be honest, 40,000 other things have dropped in my lap over the intervening months and I've never gone back to it. Having said that, I may try BanjoBoy's suggestion...it sounds promising!
BanjoBoy is correct. This is a known issue and increasing the column size for "Patch" in the database corrects the problem.
