    Decommissioning Core server

I am in the process of migrating all devices from one core to another (different host, different DB).

Following the old server shuting down, we will have a dns record that points to the new core. So any old agent will be reporting to the new core, waiting for me to upgrade the agent.

Is there anything particular to do when decommissioning the old core i.e. deactivate Landesk licences?

That should cover most of it.    Updated DNS alias pointing to your new core should catch old clients reporting in.

You may want to import your old LANDesk core cert into the new core so you can control devices but I believe LANDesk recommends only using one core certificate since there is additional overhead since the core has to sign it with both certificates.
