I'm assuming that "flat legacy agent" refers to: http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-21797 but this document only works through creating a legacy 8.8 or 9.0SP2 agents for <mac os 10.5.8. I'm hopeful that there will be a refresh of this document with a 9.5sp1legacy agent to include 10.6.8?
I think they simply mean that you should create a self-contained executable for the agent on a 9.5SP1 system that does not have that patch installed. It certainly could be a bit clearer.

Thanks for your input Mark.
I also just got some feedback from support. They confirmed that I'd just need to get the mpkg file from a core without this patch and follow the customization steps in http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-21797. I was under the mistaken impression that I would somehow be able to generate or magically find a legacy agent. I just wish I would have thought to get a copy of my preferred agent before doing the update.
I need a test core anyway and this gives me a good reason to stop putting it off.
